| Captain Cooks opened back in 1999, and at one time had the claim to fame of paying the largest online jackpot ever when the Major Millions jackpot of $1,594,649.21 was won there on the 30th May 2002. Unfortunately that lucky winner was not me, although I have been playing online there almost since their inception. Captain Cooks Casino is named after the famous explorer Captain James Cook and the casino is themed around his ship ū even complete with the authentic creaking of the ships timbers as sound effects. The customer service staff are the crew, and you may receive communication from someone signing themselves as The First Mate or an Able Seamaną.. The software is Microgaming Viper and there is also a flash casino and a separate poker site. Captain Cooks was once part of Integrity Casinos, but fairly recently were taken over by Casino Rewards, incorporating the casino rewards loyalty program, and merging captain cooks loyalty points with those gained from other Casino Rewards Casinos. The loyalty scheme is quite generous, and regular players receive quite a few comps and other freebies. Customer service is now slower than it once was, but still very helpful and they will allow players to flush withdrawals on request. The minimum withdrawal amount is $50, and withdrawals stay pending for 48 hours (unless you request otherwise). A Neteller withdrawal takes on average two working days, whereas check payments will take up to 10 working days. |

| Captain Cooks Casino is one of the top Microgaming casinos, they offer all of the latest casino games, and reward their players a loyalty program where they get rewarded to play and get more cash back, the more that they play. When I evaluate a casino, i look at things like how customer support addresses my inquiries, promptness of payouts and deposits, efforts made to keep me coming back, ie...bonuses, special promotions, and player rewards, and the variety of games available to choose from is also an important factor to keep me from getting bored. Captain Cooks casino passes all of these requirements. They answered my inquiries in a timely manner and to my satisfaction, the banking always went smoothly and without delay, the games are always fresh and exciting, and the bonuses and rewards program are very respectable. I would feel safe recommending Captain Cooks casino to anyone, they are a well run, professional operation with a very solid reputation within the online gambling industry, they are also part of the Casino Rewards group of casinos. |

| I used to like Captain Cooks way back but they seem to be slipping a bit in their customer service and payouts. I've been reading some of the boards and have found out that they aren't up to par like they used to be. I'd heed a bit of caution before depositing or at least read up on the latest with this casino. They are run on the Microgaming platform so for the most part you should be ok. They have a first deposit bonus of $50 free when you deposit $50 so maybe start small and give them a test first. If you use Neteller or Click2Pay, you'll get another $20 bonus. They have 165 games so there is plenty of variety. I really love their 9 line slots and I do pretty well there as far as luck goes. Also try the new slots that were just added including LOADED which is always lots of fun. They accept many different methods of deposit and their customer service answers you within a reasonable amount of time. I think it just takes a bit longer to get your cashout then normal Microgaming casinos. Make sure you read ALL terms and conditions related to bonuses as well. I've heard they seem to get you on technicalities. This is MY opinion only and my personal review so take it as you see fit and have fun! |
